Microsoft Stream is replacing Office 365 Video

Why can I not see my uploaded video in Office 365 Video?

Microsoft has transitioned from Office 365 Video to Microsoft Stream. They have decided to use a phased approach to help Video customers migrate to Stream. That is why we can see both apps now.

What is Microsoft Stream?

Microsoft Stream is a website portal where people in your organization can post and view videos. It’s a streaming video service for your organization. Stream also makes it easy to share comments on a video, tag timecodes in comments and descriptions to refer to specific points in a video and discuss with co-workers.

Use this application to share videos of:

  • Classes
  • Meetings
  • Presentations
  • Training sessions
  • How-tos

Use this collaboration app to:

  • View recorded Teams Meetings
  • Share with a select group of people or more
  • Embed on your Teams SharePoint site
  • Send link via email
  • Index video
  • Keep your videos secure
  • Trim and start videos to share at a particular time
