Employee or Contractor?
Frequently, Business Management fields questions from department personnel who do not know whether to treat temporary workers as independent contractors or employees. This categorization determines whether we file a job posting in NeoGov or an RFP in Purchasing, whether we need to complete a contract or a PTF, whether the Town is required to withhold FICA and other taxes, or not.
