Workplace Safety Groups

Department Level Workplace Safety Committees and Groups/Teams

Many departments within the Town have established workplace safety committees, groups, or teams for the purpose of bringing department representatives together from their primary operational areas. Workplace Safety Committees provide dedicated and ongoing efforts to enhance existing workplace safety programs and address safety related needs throughout the department. Effective communications and dissemination of information by committee members across the department builds support and awareness for safety programs and initiatives.
