Loss Analysis, Loss Trends & Program Development for Loss Prevention and/or Reduction

The Office of Risk Management reviews and evaluates all losses or claims within the Town’s many departments and work environments so that incident trends can be analyzed. Taking a comprehensive look into loss trends and causation helps to develop programs or corrective actions for prevention of future losses. ORM staff work with the Town’s insurance providers to obtain and develop reports for claims review and remediation. Department claims review meetings with managers provide a detailed review of claims history and trends so that loss prevention strategies can be agreed upon and implemented.
