Safety Training Program & Regulatory Compliance

All staff play a critical role in supporting and participating in safety training opportunities within the Town. HRD coordinated safety orientation for all new hires and ongoing town-wide safety training workshops keep workplace safety front and center. Mandatory training programs help meet regulatory safety training requirements and reinforces safe work practices and a culture of safety.

Safety training programs at the department, division, and work group/crew levels train staff for specialty operations and equipment.

Safety meetings and talks prior to work projects provide safety planning and review of required personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe work practices.
