In an effort to increase communication channels between Technology Solutions and departments, TS has partnered with all departments to create a TS Representatives Team. The team is composed of one or more staff from each department that would serve as a liaison for anything technology related.

This newly established group will collaborate and share the following types of information:

• New initiatives
• Enterprise technology project updates
• Surveys
• Demos/Trainings
• TS Governance/Policy updates

From the department side, the TS Representatives could also share any initiatives that your department has on the horizon so we can assist in project management to help find the best solution from a security, integration, standardization and cost perspective.

Meetings would only be as-needed and/or optional if there is an enterprise project that we would like to get feedback on. Most of the Technology Solution communication would be through an email distribution list, but also may be a Teams meeting if a topic needs more round table discussion. My hope is this group would not replace any communication, but would only enhance the current communication channels. For instance, most of the time we would copy the Department Directors on anything we are communicating out to the TS Representatives. We also would continue to use the Town Email Users for any information that we need to get out to everybody.
